"I bought three new impact drivers this month because nobody knows who has the last three." Sound familiar? Tool loss, hoarding, and theft drain $300-500 per worker per year.

What contractors are saying.
★★★★★
"We were spending $8K a year replacing tools that walked off the site. This would pay for itself in the first month."

"I've been looking for something like this that doesn't cost more than the tools it's tracking. $29/mo is a no-brainer."

ToolTag AI Advisor
Hey! I'm the ToolTag AI advisor. Ask me anything about tool tracking, loss prevention, fleet management, or how ToolTag works. What's on your mind?
Common questions from the jobsite.
Will the tags survive a construction site? +
Absolutely. Our tags are IP67 rated — dustproof and waterproof. They're built to handle drops, vibration, and extreme temperatures (-20F to 140F). We test them in real jobsite conditions. If one breaks, we replace it free.
My crew is not tech-savvy. Will they actually use this? +
That's exactly who we built it for. The app is dead simple — tap a tag, confirm checkout, done. No accounts for workers, no training sessions. If they can use a smartphone, they can use ToolTag. Most crews are up and running in under 10 minutes.
How is this different from Apple AirTags or Tile? +
AirTags tell you where something is. ToolTag tells you who has it, when they took it, when it's due back, and how many hours it's been used. It's a fleet management system, not just a locator. Plus, our tags are ruggedized for construction, not designed for wallets and keys.
What's the battery life on the tags? +
Tags run on standard CR2032 coin cell batteries and last 12-18 months with normal use. When a battery gets low, the app alerts you. Replacement takes 30 seconds with a coin. No special tools needed (ironic, we know).
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes. Month-to-month, cancel anytime, no contracts. The tags are yours to keep — they just won't sync to the platform anymore. But we're betting once you see your tool loss drop to zero, you won't want to go back to the clipboard method.
